村中大祐（Daisuke MURANAKA）

東京外国語大学ドイツ語学科を卒業後、ウィーン国立音楽大学で指揮を学び、トーティ・ダル・モンテ国際オペラコンクール指揮部門「ボッテーガ」と第1回マリオ・グゼッラ国際指揮者コンクールで、いずれも第1位を獲得。フルトヴェングラーの高弟で20世紀最高のモーツァルト指揮者、ペーター・マークの薫陶を受け、また今年他界したクラウディオ・アッバードの下でも研鑽を積む。1995年、急病の師ペーター・マークに代わって、イタリア・トレヴィーゾにある「マリオ・デル・モナコ」歌劇場での公演初日２時間前に急遽抜擢されて指揮したモーツァルトの歌劇「魔笛」は、イタリア内外での話題を呼ぶ鮮烈なデビューとなった。
これまでにヴェネチア・フェニーチェ歌劇場、パレルモ・テアトロ・マッシモ、新国立劇場（日本）、スイス・ザンクトガレン・オペラ・フェスティバルや英国グラインドボーンオペラ（アジア人初）などに登場し、ボーザル・ホール（ブリュッセル）、カドガン・ホール（ロンドン）、ドヴォルザーク・ホール（チェコ）、サーラ・ヴェルディ（ミラノ）等の演奏会に登場。オペラとコンサートのいずれでも世界各地で絶賛を博している。
1999年に東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団でデビュー以来、ＮＨＫ交響楽団をはじめとする国内主要オーケストラに招かれ、新国立劇場で指揮したモーツァルトの歌劇「魔笛」では第11回出光音楽賞（2001年）を受賞。これまでに第19回ヨコハマ遊大賞受賞（2007年）。また横浜オペラ未来プロジェクト「秘密の結婚」が三菱東京UFJ芸術文化財団音楽賞（2009年）を受賞している。
2006年～2009年横浜開港150周年記念事業「横浜オペラ未来プロジェクト」の企画・立案を行い、同プロジェクトを芸術監督として成功に導いた。また横浜OMPオーケストラを設立し、内外のアーティストの人材流通拠点を横浜に創出したことは、日本国内のみならず海外でも大きな反響を呼んだ。2011年5月にイタリアで行った東日本大震災の追悼コンサートをきっかけに、『自然と音楽』のテーマをライフワークとし、世界各国での演奏を繰り広げている。
2013年にはオーケストラ・アフィア（AfiA)を創設。『自然と音楽』演奏会シリーズとして、東京の鎮守の森・浜離宮朝日ホールでの一連のコンサートを開始。街の音・街の息吹きを取り入れるため、横浜での公開リハーサルを行い、また第二回「満月に寄す」では、鎌倉　鶴岡八幡宮の神嘗祭に合わせ、同社、若宮にて奉納演奏を行った。
2013年11月からは英国ロンドン・カドガンホールにてイギリス室内管弦楽団(ECO)との『自然と音楽』シリーズを開始。世界的ヴィオラ奏者ユーリ・バシュメットと共演し、シェーンベルクの「浄められた夜」、ベンジャミン・ブリテンの「イリュミナシオン」などを好演し、2014年４月にはベートーヴェン「田園」などを熱演して、満場の聴衆からスタンディングオヴェーションで迎えられた。イギリス室内管弦楽団では、ロンドン・カドガン・ホールで2015年3月にはメンデルスゾーンの交響曲第3番「スコットランド」、5月にはチャールズ皇太子主催のチャリティ演奏会で、シューベルトの交響曲第4番「悲劇的」などを演奏することが決定している。
また国内の2015年シーズンでは、東京の紀尾井ホールを中心にオーケストラ・アフィア「自然と音楽」演奏会シリーズが開催される予定である。
メディアでは、テレビ朝日系列「題名のない音楽会」、日本テレビ系列「深夜のコンサート」やNHKFM、NHKBS、NHK教育テレビ、TOKYO FM、FMヨコハマ、TVKなどに多数出演。現在、FM横浜「THE BREEZE」（毎月最終週火曜朝11時～）ドルチェ・カンタービレに“ミュージック・コンシェルジュ、音のソムリエ”として出演中。クラシック音楽についてざっくばらんにいろんな角度から紹介している。

Daisuke Muranaka

In 2013 Daisuke Muranaka is appointed as an Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of newly formed Symphony Orchestra in Tokyo, “Orchestra AfiA”, with which he has embarked upon the series of concerts in Tokyo and Yokohama with recording plans which includes Mendelssohn , Schoenberg ,Mozart and the Beethoven Cycle in 2014.
His recent European Performance was featured on the “Nature and Music” programme. In Italy with Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana in Palermo , he performed the ”Sea” Programme with Britten, Wagner, Mendelssohn and Debussy , and in UK with English Chamber Orchestra with “Moon light” Programme playing Schoenberg, Mozart and Britten with Yuri Bashmet as a Soloist.
Mr. Muranaka ’s glittering career as a conductor first came into prominence in 1996, when he made his operatic debut in Italy with “ Die Zauberflöte “ in Treviso Teatro Mario Del Monaco at two hours notice because of the sudden illness of Peter Maag, with whom he had a long musical partnership as an assistant of Peter Maag’s last years.
Over 30 Operas in his repertoires , his current worldwide Opera performances include La Grand Teatro La Fenice di Venezia , Teatro Massimo di Palermo, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Theater St. Gallen, Teatro Comunale di Treviso “Mario del Monaco”, The National Theater in Tokyo and many others. Among which, in Teatro Massimo di Palermo, Mr. Muranaka ‘s interpretation of “Manon Lescaut” had a biggest acclaim after the newly reopened Scilian Theater with Norma Fantini in title role and Gazzettino di Treviso says “ Puccini must be conducted like this..”.
After winning the first prize of “Mario Gusella “ Conducting Competition, Mr. Muranaka was widely invited to many prestigious Orchestras, which include English Chamber Orchestra, Brussels Philharmonic , NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmnonic, Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, Orchestra Toscanini, Pomeriggi Musicale di Milano, Orchestra del Teatro Fenice di Venezia, Orchesta del Teatro Massimo di Palermo and many others. Among which he conducted many Italian Premiere for contemporary composers like F. Pennisi and H.W.Henze with the composer’s own praise for his interpretation.
Performances have taken him to many concert Venues such as Verdi Hall (Milan), Palais des Beaux-Arts(Brussels), Cadogan Hall (London), Ueno Bunkakaikan(Tokyo) , Teatro Massimo , Teatro Politeama (Palermo), Grand Teatro Fenice(Venezia) and many others.
Mr. Muranaka is also founder of ”Yokohama OMP Orchestra” and “ Yokohama Opera Mirai Project” in Minato-Mirai Hall in Japan, and he became their Artistic Director and Principal Conductor. His long lasting collaboration with the Opera Producer , Michael Hampe, has received a rave operatic reviews and Mr.Muranaka was rewarded the prestigious “Yokohama Award” for his contribution to the City of Yokohama.
Mr. Muranaka has enjoyed success as a conductor in Japan after winning prestigious “ Idemitsu Music Award 2001” and already conducted almost all Japanese Orchestras such as NHK Symphony, Tokyo Philharmonic, Yomiuri Symphony, Kyoto Symphony, Nippon Century Orchestra, New Japan Symphony, Japan Symphony, Kyushu Symphony, Gunma Symphony, Tokyo City Pilharmonic and Tokyo New City Orchesta.
Mr. Muranaka studied International Relationship in Tokyo University for Foreign Studies and Conducting in Musikhochschule in Vienna with K. Oesterreicher and L. Hager. His mentor was Peter Maag, with whom he worked in many Italian thatres.
Born in Kyoto , Mr. Muranaka currently lives in Rome , has recorded Rachmaninov 3rd Piano Concerto with Paquale Ianonne (Phoenix) and will be issued Schoenberg Transfigured Night with Orchestra AfiA(WAKA) in 2014 and appeared in many TV and Radio Productions in Japan and in Italy. He is also famous as a Radio Commentator in Yokohama and one of the personalities in FM Yokohama Classical Programme.
Mr. Muranaka’s future engagements include Mendelssohn’s Ein Sommernachtstraum and Erste Walpurgis Nachts with Orchestra AfiA in Tokyo and Beethoven Pastoral Symphony with English Chamber Orchestra in London Cadogan Hall in 2014.
